Ushaw Café
The Refectory, which at one time would have fed all the boys and men who lived at the College, now houses Ushaw ‘s tearoom. The hall houses some of the most stunning architecture in the North-East, with beautiful tiles and Victorian hand-crafted tables. Although the technology has changed through the years, Divines Tearoom in the Refectory, offers a variety of the most sumptuous and delightful meals.
The tearoom is open from 11am to 3pm, Monday to Saturday. It offers a variety of lunches, both hot and cold, as well as tea and coffee, with a selection of soft drinks and ice-creams also available.
